Job summary

Brownswood Nursery & Landscape is seeking a landscape crew lead on Johns Island, SC. You will direct a 2-3 member crew to install client landscapes from start to finish, ensuring quality and timely completion.

Ideal candidates will read landscape plans, operate tools safely, and communicate professionally with clients. 2–4 years in landscaping is preferred; valid driver's license required; outdoor work year-round.

What We are Looking for:

• Ability to motivate, lead, and encourage a team of 2-3 crew members
• Strong work ethic and integrity with a desire to keep projects on budget
• Strong knowledge of Charleston plant materials preferred
• Attention to detail, basic understanding of grading, drainage, and construction
• 2-4 years landscaping/installation experience preferred
• 1-2 years leading others in landscape installation experience is preferred
• Safely operate company tools and equipment
• Able to read landscape plans and drawings
• Ability to interact with clients and potential customers in a professional, courteous manner
• Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
• Willingness to help our team GROW by giving and receiving constructive criticism respectfully
• Ability to drive tractors with trailers is a plus, training available
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean record
