Job summary

KM Engineering is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to lead and grow our Landscape Architecture practice in Idaho. You will oversee projects from concept through construction, mentor staff, and contribute to business development on public and private developments.

The role requires a PLA/RLA license, 8+ years of experience, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred, with strong client relationships and communication

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture.
Current PLA/RLA license; Idaho reciprocity supported.
8+ years of related experience and ability to manage multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

Lead landscape architecture projects from concept through construction.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
Develop site layouts, streetscape designs, park plans, planting plans, and construction documents.
Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, planners, and environmental professionals.
Build and maintain client and agency relationships.
Mentor junior staff and support professional development.
Prepare and oversee production of landscape architecture plans, specifications, reports, and construction documents.
Help shape the growth and direction of the firm’s landscape architecture practice.
