Job summary

Design Workshop Inc. seeks a licensed Landscape Architect with project management experience to join our Lake Tahoe studio team. The role focuses on leading projects from concept through construction, managing client relationships, and guiding a collaborative studio culture.

The candidate will mentor staff, engage in business development, and contribute to delivering award-winning landscape architecture and planning projects. Hybrid work is embraced to support collaboration.

Qualifications

• Four years (ideally 5–7) of demonstrated skill in site design, technical design documentation and construction observation.
• Experience leading others in design and construction documentation/observation.
• Licensure in Landscape Architecture is required.
• Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in landscape architecture is required; master's encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide landscape architecture, planning and project management services to a wide variety of private and public clients.
• Lead or be a project manager/designer on projects of varying scales.
• Mentor junior staff and support other project managers on large/complex projects.
• Embrace hybrid work schedules and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
