Job summary

Design Workshop, Lake Tahoe studio, seeks a licensed Landscape Architect with project management experience to lead and grow a diverse portfolio. The role emphasizes design excellence, documentation, planning and business development within a collaborative studio culture.

The successful candidate will manage projects from concept through construction documents, mentor staff, and contribute to an award‑winning practice with hybrid work flexibility.

Qualifications

• Four to seven years of site design, technical design documentation and construction observation experience.
• Experience leading projects from conceptual design through construction documents.
• Licensed Landscape Architect; licensure required.
• Willingness to mentor staff and build a collaborative studio culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, project documentation, planning, business development, and/or project management for legacy work.
• Provide landscape architecture, planning and management services to private and public clients.
• Serve as project manager or lead designer on projects of various scales.
• Support other project managers or designer/planners on large, complex projects.
