Job summary

Galloway & Company is seeking a leadership-focused Landscape Architect in Evansville, IN. You will guide project planning, mentor staff, and help grow the business through client partnerships and proposals.

You’ll oversee design development, cost estimation, and construction documentation to deliver high-impact landscapes. The role requires a licensed Indiana landscape architect with 5–7+ years of experience, strong CADD/Photoshop/MS Office skills, and familiarity with InfraWorks and SketchUp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture (Master’s is preferred, but not required).
• 5 to 7+ years of relevant experience in landscape architecture and design including construction-related experience.
• Must be a licensed Landscape Architect in Indiana, or able to obtain licensing within one year of joining the company.
• Advanced understanding of principles, practices, permitting process, codes, and standards in Landscape Architecture and Planning.
• Experience mentoring, training, and developing team members.
• Proficiency in CADD, Photoshop and MS Office; knowledge of InfraWorks and SketchUp is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with architects, project managers, and engineers to develop a design per the Hafer Way process.
• Coordinate the arrangement of existing and proposed land features and structures.
• Prepare cost estimates of landscape design.
• Prepare CAD drawings and construction documents for bidding.
• Provide master planning and direction for complex design work.
• Review and ensure plans meet applicable codes.
• Coordinate planting projects and select sustainable materials.
