• Bachelor's degree in land surveying or civil engineering with surveying option/emphasis; required coursework in surveying-related topics.
• One year of specialized experience in surveying, GIS, and mapping; supports field surveys including land, boundary, engineering, geodetic, cartographic, topographic, hydrographic, and ultra-precise alignment surveys.

Responsabilités

• Administers and supervises contracts, reviews and accepts work, and evaluates contractor performance with full technical responsibility.
• Ensures standardization of methods, procedures, and QA review of surveys.
• Maintains final responsibility for accuracy and adequacy of surveys assigned to the District.
• Coordinates field mapping activities with other Districts and agencies.
• Serves as Mapping Unit project coordinator in PMBP teams for large/diversified projects.
