Job summary

Aro Homes in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to lead the company’s surveying functions for its infill residential projects in Silicon Valley. You will establish internal survey capability and ensure timely, accurate boundary/topographic/ALTA surveys to fuel development pipelines.

The role requires an active CA PLS license, 5–10 years of land surveying experience (infill/residential preferred), and strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GPS/RTK, and total station

Qualifications

Active California PLS license is required.
5–10 years professional experience in land surveying, infill residential or small-lot work preferred.
Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GPS/RTK, and total station workflows.
Deep familiarity with Santa Clara County and San Mateo County parcel data, utilities, and city standards.

Responsibilities

Produce and stamp boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys for infill residential parcels.
Manage field data acquisition and ensure compliance with CA PLS standards.
Maintain geospatial data library and historical survey repository.
