Job summary

Alliant Engineering, Inc. seeks a Land Survey Project Manager for our Jacksonville, FL office. Lead land surveying efforts, oversee complex projects, and mentor survey staff using state-of-the-art technology in a fast-paced environment.

The role demands strong analytical skills, professional judgment, and experience with FDOT/Public Works and ALTA/NSPS surveys. Excellent communication and project leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of land surveying experience required.
• Proven project/task management on FDOT or Public Works projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years of CAD experience.
• Proficiency with field equipment and standard field procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex survey/geomatic calculations for maps and rights of way.
• Compile and research data to complete survey requirements.
• Coordinate project estimates and schedules.
• Analyze deeds and title documents for maps and reports.
• Oversee surveys to map boundaries and topographic features.
• Review field notes and data from survey staff.
• Guide survey analysts and technicians in assignments.
• Ensure QC before final delivery to client.
