Job summary

Kier & Wright Civil Engineers and Surveyors is seeking a Project Manager for land development in Santa Clara, CA. You will lead project scope, schedule, budget, and client relations, coordinating across disciplines and agencies to deliver quality civil design from concept to construction documents.

The role requires AutoCAD Civil 3D expertise, QA/QC focus, and mentoring junior staff, with a strong emphasis on permitting and entitlements. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• PE license with 5+ years land development experience or 8+ years without PE.
• PMP or related certification is a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam is required.
• Knowledge of permitting processes and entitlements.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management activities: initiation, planning, budgeting, scheduling, and closeout.
• Manage contracts, proposals, and monthly billing with coordination across teams.
• Oversee QA/QC, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and agencies.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development.
