Job summary

Red Cat Holdings in Valdosta, GA is seeking a Lamination Technician to produce USV fiberglass components using infusion processes. You will lead a team on prototype designs, perform rework, and retrofit installations with engineering support.

You will ensure workmanship meets strict safety and quality standards, conduct in-process inspections, and drive continuous improvement across production. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of lamination experience.
• Ability to read technical documentation, including assembly diagrams.
• Familiarity with OSHA and other manufacturing management practices.
• Strong understanding of infusion processes and safe chemical handling.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proficient with ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the Special Projects Team to implement new prototype designs, conduct rework, and retrofit installations alongside engineering.
• Ensure all work is performed with craftsmanship and that procedures/work instructions are followed to standard.
• Create a mission-minded culture focused on safety, quality, and on-time delivery to customers.
• Lead by example in safety, ensuring PPE, tools, equipment, and material handling are compliant.
• Perform in-process quality checks and inspections of molds, infusion parts, and finished products.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
• Document discrepancies or defects and escalate to management or engineers.
• Participate in new model design reviews and prototyping of products and processes.
• Contribute to team meetings to discuss process improvements, efficiency, and quality.
