Job summary

Raba Kistner, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Supervisor I to join our Infrastructure team in Sulphur, LA.

This role will supervise laboratory and field technicians, coordinate testing activities, and ensure accurate data logging and reporting for construction materials testing projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in laboratory testing, management experience, and knowledge of AASHTO/ACI testing standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or High School Equivalency certificate required.
• Minimum of 8 years’ or related experience with designated area of laboratory testing.
• Minimum of 7-11 months' of related management experience.
• Completion of Troxler Manufacturing or equal radiation safety course to utilize nuclear gauges, ACI Field Testing Technician Grade 1, and ACI Concrete Strength Testing, and ACI Aggregate Testing are all preferred.
• Possess a valid driver’s license within the applicable jurisdiction and meet company’s auto insurability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and train laboratory and field construction materials testing staff.
• Direct crews in the field and log samples and tests accurately.
• Assist with site coordination of testing services on construction sites.
• Prepare and process reports as well as other administrative duties.
• Perform operational walkthroughs and competency testing.
