CBRE, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Technician for Laboratory Instrument Services in Durham, NC. You will calibrate, maintain, and repair scientific instrumentation in critical client environments.

The role involves troubleshooting, documenting maintenance, coordinating with contractors, and developing calibration procedures. Strong math, organizational, and communication skills are essential for success.

• Take apart, examine, clean, fix, calibrate, check, and take care of equipment, systems, and controls.
• Operate test equipment including multimeters, frequency generators, counters, galvanometers, digital logic probes, and oscilloscopes.
• Coordinate removal of equipment requiring extensive repairs during scheduled maintenance periods.
• Troubleshoot or resolve problems while performing unscheduled work.
• Record and report abnormal functions or out-of-tolerance conditions; start corrective action and documentation.
• Review and document daily records of inspections, maintenance activity, repairs, and other work performed.
• Coordinate with external contractors on repairs under maintenance agreements and communicate with customer staff.
• Locate part sources, estimate costs, and prepare requisitions.
• Track instrument and part reliability; recommend alternate service, supplier, and parts.
• Oversee development of equipment, maintenance, and calibration procedures.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values.
