Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
• 4+ years of labor and employment litigation experience.
• Ability to independently manage cases and drive litigation strategy.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience taking depositions and handling court appearances.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in all aspects of labor and employment litigation.
• Lead and manage all phases of litigation, including strategy and trial prep.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests and oversee discovery.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and complex legal memoranda.
• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and appear in court.
• Advise clients on routine employment issues and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with partners on case strategy and mentor junior associates.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
• Stay current on federal, state, and local employment law.
