Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific discipline or equivalent lab experience.
• Experience safely handling chemicals and preparing samples in a lab.
• Familiarity with lab instrumentation and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples, reagents, and standards per SOPs.
• Acquire XRD data and assess data quality.
• Acquire X-ray tomography data and assess data quality.
• Operate electron microscopy and assess data quality.
• Collect particle characterization data (size, density, contact angle, surface tension, surface area).
• Perform routine instrument operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Dispose of lab waste per safety/environmental procedures.
• Maintain lab organization and stock supplies.
• Communicate results and issues promptly to technical staff.
• Collaborate within a team and manage shifting priorities.
