Job summary

Quality Chemical Laboratories in Wilmington, NC seeks an experienced X-ray Lab Manager to lead the X-ray laboratory, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate equipment maintenance and scheduling. The role includes writing testing protocols and client reports to support project milestones.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a relevant science and at least 3 years of experience in X-ray diffraction or solid-state techniques, with an advanced degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Science required with at least 3 years of experience in X-ray diffraction and/or solid-state techniques.
• Advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all activities within the X-ray laboratory, including scheduling, equipment maintenance, personnel oversight, and safety compliance.
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment and related software; write testing protocols and client reports.
