Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Lead Engineering Technician to guide technical activities and support engineering projects onsite. You will follow lab procedures, perform complex tasks independently, and work with a team of Technicians to ensure quality and safety.

The role emphasizes compliance with U.S. export control laws, strong communication of technical concepts, and hands-on experience with analytical instruments in a lab setting. Onsite work, no relocation offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience working with analytical instruments in a laboratory setting.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM.
• Wet Chemistry background (Titrations, ICP, Viscosity, FTIR, UV-VIS), Metallography & SEM experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage workload distribution and execute tasks related to viscosity, ICP, titrations, UV-Vis in Chemistry lab.
• Perform Metallography and SEM analysis and hardness testing in Metallography Lab.
• Collaborate with Engineers with day-to-day tasks and improve work practices.
• Interface with engineering to resolve technical issues and clearly communicate lab concepts.
