POSITION SUMMARY:

Assistant will draw blood, collect specimens, and run EKG's on patients, process those specimens including accessioning in the LIS. They will also organize, check off and deliver laboratory reports, file reports and requisitions, restock and clean as needed all areas of the laboratory, answer the phone and front window, and perform other duties as needed. By performing those functions in the laboratory; help to maintain a smooth workflow for the laboratory technologists.
