Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to oversee phlebotomy and specimen processing services.

You will serve as the technical expert in phlebotomy, coordinating phlebotomy and lab assistant activities to ensure timely, safe specimen collection according to established collection protocols. A HS diploma or GED is required, with 2 years of phlebotomy experience preferred in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 2 years phlebotomy experience; hospital setting preferred.
• CPT certification preferred.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• 2 years of phlebotomy experience and/or lab processor or lab assistant Required
• Experience working in a hospital Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• None Required
• CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency Preferred
