Qualifications

• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain (training assistance may be provided).

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure meals are appealing, properly portioned, and served on schedule.
• Accommodate resident preferences and special dietary needs as appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area during shifts.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards, including storage, labeling and temperature control.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including ServSafe requirements.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is cleaned, sanitized, and used safely.
• Monitor and document required kitchen logs (temperatures, cleaning records, etc.).
