Job summary

Required: 1–2 years of related kitchen experience and a high school diploma; pay $21.00–$23.00 per hour, full-time, on-site.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related kitchen experience.
• Experience managing people in a kitchen or food-service operation.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and cost control.
• Ability to communicate clearly and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily production, preparation and presentation of all food for the kitchen to ensure a quality, consistent product that meets standards.
• Supervise HR in the production and preparation areas to attract, retain and motivate employees while providing a safe environment; train, develop, coach and counsel as appropriate.
• Schedule and supervise maintenance and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment and related areas to ensure a healthy, safe environment.
• Assist in monitoring and control of labor and food costs.
• Promote the Accident Prevention Program to minimize liabilities and related expenses.
