American Senior Communities in Columbus, OH is seeking a Cook to join our culinary team. Full-time evening shifts available. You will prepare nutritious meals, follow recipes, and maintain high sanitation standards for our residents.

Eligible applicants have a high school diploma or GED, 1-3 years food service experience; sanitation certification preferred. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 years related experience.
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification.
• Preferred: Prior institutional or healthcare service experience.

Responsabilidades

• Follows recipes and prepares food that corresponds to menus that meet residents’ nutritional needs.
• Cooks or prepares palatable, attractive, nutritionally adequate meals in quantities needed.
• Leads kitchen staff with food preparation, assembling trays, cleaning, and storage of supplies and equipment.
• Maintains a clean food service work area as food preparation and service is in process.
• Handles, stores, and disposes of food supplies, and prepares food in accordance with departmental procedures and in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Educación

High school diploma or GED

Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification (preferred)

Prior institutional/healthcare service experience (preferred)
