Gamble Sands in Brewster, WA, is seeking a full-time Head Chef to lead kitchen operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will oversee food preparation, menu standards, and staff performance within Troon’s global golf resort network.

You’ll manage scheduling, training, inventory, safety, and liaison with front-of-house to ensure outstanding service. Strong culinary technique, leadership, and calm problem solving under pressure are essential.

• Experience leading a high-volume kitchen.
• Proven ability to maintain high standards of taste, portion and presentation.
• Strong leadership and staff development skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee food preparation to ensure dishes meet standards of taste, portion and presentation.
• Manage staffing: scheduling, training, and conflict mediation to keep the kitchen team motivated.
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and equipment maintenance to ensure fresh ingredients and functioning tools.
• Enforce food safety and hygiene, monitor temperatures and proper storage.
• Liaise with head chef and front of house to translate ideas into clear instructions for service.
• Demonstrate and teach a wide range of cooking methods and plating techniques.
• Lead the kitchen team with clear communication and constructive feedback.
• Stay calm under pressure and adapt plans to resolve issues without compromising quality.
• Maintain organizational systems for inventory tracking, scheduling, and multi-order coordination.
