Job summary

Nike Inc. is seeking a Lead Footwear Designer to drive seasonal concepts for Jordan Kids Footwear. You will lead design from concept through final design, collaborating with product directors and cross-functional teams to ensure performance and storytelling excellence.

You will apply strong sketching and 3D skills, mentor teammates, and bring a culturally connected point of view to life across sport performance and lifestyle lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field.
• 5-7 years of footwear design experience.
• Previous footwear design experience required.
• Ability to create accurate 2D drawings and tech packs.
• Translate consumer insights into product solutions and narratives.
• Experience in technical footwear design; performance footwear a plus.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud and new digital tools.
• 3D design skills with Gravity Sketch, Rhino, Blender or similar.
• Cobbling and prototyping skills are a plus.
• Strong sketching, illustration and rendering skills.
• Knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes and materials.
• Ability to generate broad concepts for projects.
• Experience presenting through Keynote, PowerPoint, Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of concepts for Jordan Kids Footwear.
• Collaborate with Product Director, Kids, and category PMs.
• Champion a culturally connected design perspective with a focus on integrity and performance.
• Explore opportunities, take risks, and drive innovative solutions.
• Present work through reviews from exploration to execution.
