Job summary

Lexington Children's Chorus is seeking an outstanding children\'s choral educator to join our artistic team for the 2026–2027 season. Depending on experience, you will lead Musical Explorers (K–1) or Preparatory Chorus (2–4), with an accompanist provided for Preparatory Chorus rehearsals.

You will create joyful, age-appropriate musical experiences, collaborate with a supportive team, and teach during Thursday afternoon rehearsals in Burlington, MA, from September through May.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching elementary-aged children in music or choir.
• Music education, choral, elementary music, or vocal background.
• Familiarity with Kodály, Orff, or other child-centered music education approaches welcomed but not required.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead either Musical Explorers (K–1, 45 minutes) or Preparatory Chorus (2–4, 60 minutes).
• Provide engaging, age-appropriate instruction with healthy vocal development.
• Collaborate with a supportive artistic team and accompanist for rehearsals.
• Thursday afternoon rehearsals in Burlington, MA; September–May season.
