MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group seeks a Kernel Validation & Automation Lead for a Linux-based AI compute environment. This remote, full-time role focuses on test strategy, automation, and system-level validation across distributed platforms.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in software engineering, deep Linux kernel expertise, C development, virtualization, and scalable test automation. You will mentor peers and collaborate with multiple teams to improve reliability at scale.

Qualifications

• Extensive Linux kernel expertise and development experience.
• Proficient in C and low-level systems programming.
• Strong scripting in Python, Shell, or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Lead the testing and validation strategy for Linux kernel infrastructure.
• Design and scale automated test frameworks for performance, reliability, and security.
• Develop test suites for kernel enhancements and infra changes.
• Support migration and validation across platform versions.
• Troubleshoot complex low-level system issues in test environments.
• Perform kernel debugging and system-level benchmarking.
• Improve CI and continuous testing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering to raise quality standards.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers.
• Identify and resolve performance, virtualization, networking, storage issues.
