Mission Pet Health in Green Bay is seeking a Lead Kennel Assistant to care for our boarding and hospitalized pets with daily feeding, exercise, and attentive monitoring. You will partner with veterinarians and technicians to ensure comfort, safety, and timely reporting of health concerns.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, clean kennels, accurate intake and discharge documentation, and smooth client interactions during check-ins.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must be in the process of obtaining or have attained a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Reasoning, memory and language ability (reading, writing, speaking English) to perform duties.
• Commitment to maintaining the Core Values and Mission Statement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Kennel Assistant handles boarding and hospitalized guests with daily care, feeding and exercise.
• Manage admissions and discharges, including client interactions and documentation.
• Monitor patient health and report issues to doctors/technicians.
• Administer medications and flea/tick control with proper recording.
• Maintain a clean environment; disinfect cages and runs with PPE.
• Provide extra TLC playtimes, walks, or baths as requested.
