Mission Pet Health is hiring a Kennel Assistant to care for boarding and daycare pets within our nationwide network. You will ensure proper feeding, exercise, and attentive care, while supporting the medical team with health observations and timely reporting.

The role emphasizes maintaining clean kennels and runs, along with inventory control and teamwork to keep the resort running smoothly. This position offers growth opportunities through professional development and AVMA‑accredited programs.

Qualifications

• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare.
• Reliable, hardworking, with the ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, good judgment, and the ability to handle stressful situations with composure.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and perform the duties of a physically active role.
• Previous kennel assistant experience is preferred. A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide personalized care for boarding and daycare pets, ensuring correct food, exercise, and attention.
• Be the eyes and ears of animal health by monitoring behavior and notifying the medical team of health concerns.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment across kennels, runs, and outdoor areas.
• Keep operations smooth by managing inventory of food and cleaning supplies and collaborating with the team.
