Job summary

The Animal House Pet Clinic, LLC in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Lead Kennel Assistant to provide daily care for boarding and hospitalized pets, manage admissions and discharges, and support the medical team with health monitoring and meds administration.

You will contribute to a clean, safe environment, perform TLC playtime and baths as requested, and participate in a network that emphasizes professional growth and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Confidence around animals and pets.
• Knowledge of proper animal restraint techniques and infectious disease control.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must be in the process of obtaining or have attained a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Reasoning, remembering, and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking English) to perform duties proficiently.
• A commitment to maintaining our Core Values and Mission Statement.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care to boarding pets and hospitalized patients, including feeding, watering, and exercise.
• Manage admissions and discharges, check-ins/outs, and document feeding/medication instructions.
• Monitor patient health by walking kennel area and reporting issues to doctors.
• Administer medications and flea/tick control, recording instructions on the kennel board.
• Maintain a clean kennel environment by disinfecting cages and PPE.
• Deliver TLC playtimes, walks, or baths on request.
