Job summary

Williams Company in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced K-12 Education Construction Superintendent based in the Charlotte area and willing to travel throughout North Carolina and neighboring states. This role calls for a Lead Superintendent with a proven record of delivering large, complex projects on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• Experience as Lead Superintendent on large commercial projects.
• Proven ability to manage field operations, safety, quality and schedule.
• Experience delivering K-12 Education projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations from mobilization through project closeout on large and complex construction projects.
• Serve as the primary field leader, directing project execution, site logistics, schedule coordination, quality control, and safety performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, inspectors, and local authorities.
• Manage and hold subcontractors accountable to scope, schedule, quality, and safety expectations.
• Foster a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate work activities across multiple trades while proactively identifying and resolving field challenges.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and project stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.
• Mentor and develop field staff while promoting teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.
