Job summary

Excella is looking for a Lead Consultant to design and deliver high-quality software solutions for commercial and government clients. You will mentor engineers, guide project execution, and ensure alignment with client needs while upholding best practices in software development and Agile methodologies.

You will work across JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business goals into technical outcomes, driving continuous improvement and adopting emerging

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience with strong technical foundations.
• Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript with frameworks like Angular or React.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) for web content.
• Proficiency with automated testing (Jest, React Testing Library) and E2E tools (Cypress, Puppeteer, Selenium).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Git workflows, and SDLC management.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to communicate complex tech to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of software solutions for commercial and government clients using JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
• Collaborate with clients to align technical solutions with business goals.
