Job summary

Excella, a transformative technology firm, seeks a Lead Consultant to develop high-quality software solutions and provide technical leadership across teams. You will mentor developers, guide project execution, and ensure alignment with client needs while applying Agile practices.

Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential, as is delivering value for commercial and government clients. A distributed workforce supports flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience with strong technical foundation.
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript with Angular or React.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Node/Express.
• Strong Agile experience and mentoring teams.
• Proficient in Git workflows and test automation (Jest, React Testing Library).
• Familiarity with accessibility and E2E testing (Cypress, Selenium).

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of software solutions for clients using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to align tech solutions with business goals.
• Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and Agile methodologies.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback for high code quality.
• Advocate adoption of emerging technologies to improve outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement across teams and projects.
