Qualifications

• High school graduate with advanced trade knowledge equivalent to four years of apprenticeship.
• Must be a Journeyman Lineman.
• Leadership, supervisory and human relations experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical transmission and distribution systems.
• Familiar with Safety Manual, Specifications, Approved List of Materials, National Electric Safety Code, OSHA rules and regulations, and the National Electric Code.
• Ability to construct and operate an electrical distribution system.
• Skilled in organizing, planning, and directing crew efforts.
• Supervisory skills to motivate, train and evaluate subordinates for productivity and development.
• Customer service skills; good writing, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Kansas CDL Class A license required.
