We Power America is seeking experienced electricians for Waterloo, IA. Openings include foreman and supervisory Journeyman roles on high-profile commercial and industrial projects.

This is a full-time, hourly position with substantial employer-paid benefits. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems; reading blueprints; ensuring code compliance; troubleshooting; and coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Strong commitment to safety, codes, and standards compliance.
• Willingness to work overtime and be on-call when needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and drawings to plan installations and upgrades.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using a range of tools.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and other contractors to meet project timelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades to improve performance.
• Provide on-call support for emergency electrical repairs.
