We Power America seeks experienced electricians in Burlington, IA to lead and perform commercial and industrial electrical work on high-profile projects. Foreman and supervisory Journeyman levels are especially needed.

All positions include comprehensive benefits, generous pay, and overtime opportunities. Tools are contractor-provided, with additional training offered to promote leadership and career growth.

Qualifications

• Commercial and industrial electrical installation and maintenance experience.
• Supervisory or lead-foreman capabilities preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, including wiring, panels, circuits, motors, and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using a variety of tools to resolve problems efficiently.
• Ensure work adheres to local, state, and federal electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute installations and upgrades.
• Upgrade and modify existing electrical systems to meet new requirements, such as adding outlets or equipment.
• Follow strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, to ensure a safe work environment.
• Collaborate closely with other contractors, engineers, and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
• Provide on-call support for emergency electrical repairs.
