Job summary

FORGE is seeking a Job Captain to guide workplace and commercial architecture projects from concept through construction in San Francisco. You will lead teams, manage schedules, and coordinate with senior staff to ensure clarity and quality.

Responsibilities include producing drawings, developing Revit models, coordinating with consultants, and maintaining QA/QC. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in this hybrid role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in architecture, interiors, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of codes, building systems, and construction.
• Proven experience leading projects, teams, and client relationships.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate drawings and details across all phases with minimal supervision.
• Develop coordinated Revit models and contribute to documentation sets.
• Schedule, manage tasks, and maintain QA/QC standards.
• Collaborate with Design Leads, Designers, and Project Architects.
• Coordinate with consultants and integrate updates into drawings.
• Lead team meetings, capture actions, and ensure follow-through.
• Translate design intent into coordinated technical documentation.
• Maintain drawing sets and document consistency for project flow.
• Support design development from concept to construction documentation.
