Job summary

Ctrl+ is seeking an experienced software engineer to lead the build-out of Java Spring Boot microservices replacing a legacy system with a modern, cloud-native platform. The role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and in-person work in Annapolis Junction, MD.

You will write Java Spring Boot microservices, optimize Lambda/Python-based workflows, and implement CI/CD with Maven, GitLab and GitOps in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (or a Master’s plus 10 years).
Two or more of: Java, Spring Boot or Python
JSON Schema
Microservice architectures
AWS tools, Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker or Ansible
MongoDB, DynamoDB or other NoSQL query and schema design
OAuth/OIDC implementation
Cypress and Cucumber test automation

Responsibilities

Write Java Spring Boot microservices using AWS-native services
Use Python to optimize Lambda, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
Build Spring REST services that filter and select complex data
Implement CI/CD with Maven, GitLab and GitOps
Deliver software in an Agile team and collaborate with stakeholders
