ASSYST is seeking a highly experienced Lead Java Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team in Washington D.C. (Remote Role).

You will lead a team of 5-10+ engineers, own end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale applications using Spring Boot and Angular, and mentor the team to drive technical excellence. The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership and deep expertise in Java, REST APIs, microservices, and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Technical Lead or Team Lead with enterprise-grade delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and mentor a team of 5-10+ engineers.
• Drive architectural design and hands-on development of full-stack apps.
• Own end-to-end delivery from requirements to monitoring.
• Champion Agile practices and collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
• Enforce code quality with TDD/BDD and SonarQube.
