Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Java Engineer III to design and build robust backend services. You will own end-to-end development of microservices on AWS EKS, contribute to UI where needed, and collaborate with product owners to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Expect strong emphasis on Agile practices, code quality, and cross-functional teamwork across Jersey City, Columbus, and related locations. Competitive compensation is provided based on role and location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Java development with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Hands-on Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker for deployments.
• AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch) at minimum.
• Strong ability to engage with non-technical stakeholders.
• Agile/Scrum delivery in a team environment.
• React and TypeScript working knowledge.

What you'll do:
