Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive end-to-end design and delivery of scalable Java services within the Consumer & Community Banking domain. Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Advanced Java experience with Spring Boot in a microservices architecture.
• Proven experience delivering production-grade systems with CI/CD.
• Hands-on cloud-native development on AWS (compute, storage, DB, container, serverless).
• Experience with CI/CD and modern build/version control practices (Git, Maven/Gradle).
• Strong testing mindset with JUnit and mocking frameworks.
• Relational databases and SQL proficiency; data modeling and performance considerations.
• Knowledge of messaging patterns and Kafka for event streaming.
• Experience using enterprise‑authorized AI-assisted software development tools.
