Job summary

PTR Global in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise Java applications. You will develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot, collaborate with business analysts, QA, and fellow developers to deliver new features, and ensure high performance and reliability of the systems.

Ideal candidates will have strong Java 8/11+ experience, solid SQL skills, and familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

Location must be local to Charlotte, NC and hybrid work schedule.
Must be able to work directly on our W2 (no C2C or third-party agencies).
Strong Java experience (8/11+) in enterprise contexts, with Spring Boot, MVC, Data.
Proficient in RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
Experience with relational databases and writing complex queries.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable Java code within enterprise architectures.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices (Spring Boot).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver features.
Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production issue resolution.
