Job summary

GBIT (Global Bridge InfoTech Inc) is seeking a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications. You will work with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and REST APIs in an Agile environment to deliver scalable software.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, write clean code, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing, and documentation, ensuring reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Java development experience.
• Java 8/11/17 proficiency.
• Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Framework.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong SQL knowledge with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate.
• Knowledge of Git and Maven/Gradle.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices with Spring Boot.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with analysts, product owners, QA and other developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Optimize performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
