Job summary

Global Channel Managementinc is seeking a Lead Java Developer to drive design and implementation of Java-based Spring/Spring Boot applications across multiple locations. The role requires deep expertise in core Java, microservices, REST APIs, and cloud AWS services.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess viability, build resilient architectures, and guide migration from monoliths to microservices. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 15 years of Java experience with enterprise apps.
• Strong knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, and MVC.
• Experience with AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS, Cognito, Step Functions) and SQL.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices development.

Responsibilities

• Assess the technical viability of emerging products.
• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to test new technologies.
• Develop business cases and secure approvals for capital expenditures.

Lead Java Developer requires:

Lead Java developer

Experience with Java based spring/spring boot application development

Experience with JavaScript libraries like Angular

CI/CD

Charlotte & Chicago. NJ, Iselin, NJ

10 years Experience in Core Java, Spring framework, MVC

5 Experience in AWS ( S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS, Cognito, Step functions ), strong SQL knowledge, REST API, Microservices development.

Lead Java Developer duties:

Assess the technical viability of emerging products and technologies.

Work with developers and infrastructure specialists to test and evaluate new technologies.

Participate in the development of business cases and obtaining approvals for capital expenditures.

Monitor and analyze new technology product performance and resolving issues regarding potential improvements or modifications to complex situations, as needed

Design and develop high resilient micro services and experienced in monolithic application to micro service architecture. Reviewing the work of other developers and providing feedback. Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality.
