Zions Bank is seeking a Senior/Lead Java Developer for the New Account Opening Platform (NAOP). You will lead design, development, and modernization of enterprise-scale Java applications, APIs, and data integrations.

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with Java-based enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, SOAP/REST APIs, microservices, and modern design patterns.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle or similar relational databases.
• Experience in Linux environments and secure software practices.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing frameworks.
• Container orchestration and cloud-native design knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, development, modernization, and support of NAOP components.
• Collaborate with Architects, Developers, Product Owners, QA, and DevOps.
• Drive engineering excellence, code reviews, and secure SDLC practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Design and optimize Oracle database schemas and data integrations.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation; build SOAP/REST APIs and microservices.
• Improve performance, reliability, observability, and security.
• Mentor junior engineers and produce technical designs and docs.
• Participate in modernization and cloud-native transformation initiatives.
