Job summary

Holistic Partners, Inc. is seeking a senior software engineer with 10+ years of experience to design and lead cloud-native enterprise web applications and APIs. You will build Spring Boot microservices, orchestrate deployments in AWS, and secure services with OAuth2/JWT/SSO. You will mentor peers and drive CI/CD practices across the team.

Lead architectural decisions, ensure performance and resilience, and collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in lead / staff / tech-lead role.
• Expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.
• Strong cloud experience with AWS; basic exposure to GCP/Azure.
• Security-focused with OAuth2, JWT, MFA, SSO.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-native solutions for enterprise web apps and APIs.
• Lead microservices architecture with Spring Boot; ensure scalability and security.
• Architect and implement AWS-based integrations (ECS, API Gateway, VPC, Lambda).
• Develop serverless components and RESTful APIs; promote reusability.

• Application Development: Design and develop cloud-native solutions for enterprise web applications and APIs.
• Microservices Architecture: Build and deploy Spring Boot microservices using containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) ensuring scalability, resiliency, and security.
• Cloud Integration: Architect and implement solutions leveraging AWS services such as ECS, IAM, API Gateway, ELB, VPC, S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, Route53.
• Serverless Development: Develop serverless components using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, and Serverless Framework.
• API Development: Implement and deploy RESTful APIs as reusable, loosely coupled microservices.
• Security & Compliance: Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, MFA, SSO, Spring Security).
• Data Solutions: Design and develop data layer components using ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA) and work with SQL/NoSQL databases (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Performance Optimization: Conduct code reviews, unit/integration testing, performance tuning, and caching strategies.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies; provide technical mentoring to team members.
• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, AWS CDK, Git.
