The role trains and supervises individuals with disabilities to perform janitorial tasks, ensuring high-quality care and disinfection across buildings during the 5pm-1:30am shift. Responsibilities include leading janitorial duties (mopping, disinfecting, bathroom cleaning, window cleaning), managing supplies, documenting work, and ensuring safety and ADA accommodations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• At least two (2) years of janitorial or supervisory experience or acceptable combination of experience, preferred.
• One (1) year of working with individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Clean Guru, Paycor, and SetWorks.
• General knowledge of janitorial cleaning products and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and/or written instructions, reasonable accommodations will be made for a person with a disability under ADA.
• Able to work independently, displaying initiative and creativity in the workplace.
• Must have a high attention to detail.
• ODL is required and must have an insurable driving record by Sunrise insurance carrier.
• Pass drug screen including marijuana/THC, background check, which will include fingerprints, and an additional CJIS Background Check.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead EP Janitorial Crew duties and supervise daily cleaning tasks.
• Promptly review emails, work schedule, crew assignments, and PPE requirements.
• Perform detailed janitorial services as per client scope: dusting, disinfecting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, windows, cleaning, trash removal.
• Utilize safe, economical use of tools and chemicals per SDS protocols.
• Document work progress using janitorial software and ensure timely reporting.
• Maintain safety and security of client facilities and Sunrise equipment.
• Complete tasks efficiently and participate in meetings, training and quality checks.
