The ancestors of the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation existed many centuries ago as a community of people…a Tribe living together, farming, hunting and fishing to survive.

Job Purpose:

Performs janitorial services for assigned Tribal departments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)

1. Provides Tribal Departments with clean orderly work environment by mopping and cleaning restrooms, floors, shelves, mirrors, chairs, and tables within assigned work areas, vacuuming carpets, disposing of boxes, trash and other debris, refilling toilet paper, paper towels, and other sundries, and replacing trash liners and empty water bottles as needed. -95%
2. Assists Supervisor by performing duties of the Supervisor in his/her absence. -5%

Job Specifications:

Education and Experience:

Essential:

• High School Diploma, High School Certificate of Completion, or G.E.D.
• 1 year housekeeping experience

Desirable:

• Supervisory experience
