Job summary

Heart of Florida Health Center in Bushnell, FL, seeks a dentist to deliver adult dental care at Sumter County Detention Center, in compliance with Florida Statute 466 and Administrative Rule 64B-5. The role includes clinical leadership and coordination with the dental team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ADA Accredited Dental School or Program.
• Current, active Florida license or eligible within 3 months; no revocation or suspension.
• Must have passed National Dental Boards Part I and II.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support Certification from an accredited provider.
• DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, plan, and deliver all phases of general dental care as permitted by Florida Statutes and Rules.
• Deliver care at the primary assigned site.
• Supervise Dental Assistants and manage support staff.
• Provide dental education to the community and HFHC patients.
• Follow HFHC policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
