Pinellas County Sheriff's Office seeks a skilled Dentist to join our Correctional Health Services team. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat the dental needs of inmates at the Pinellas County jail, performing emergency and routine procedures, and developing individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited college or university.
• Florida Dental License (DDS or DMD), DEA certification.
• CPR – BLS or ACLS certification.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and background credit check.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat inmate dental conditions; develop treatment plans.
• Perform emergency and routine dental procedures; maintain records in EMR.
• Ensure NCCHC/ACA/FMJS compliance and quality improvement participation.
• Provide dental education to nurses and staff; obtain consent forms.
