Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a technical IT Storage specialist to support design, development, and maintenance of storage solutions across the enterprise. You will collaborate with IT, product, analytics and business teams to implement scalable storage architectures and ensure reliability, security, and performance.

The role involves monitoring, capacity management, data backup and recovery testing, and mentoring associate engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, test, implement and automate technical storage solutions.
Provide production monitoring and storage capacity management and support.
Assist in data backup and recovery management including disaster and cyber recovery testing.
Collaborate on storage architecture design to align with enterprise goals.
Gather requirements across IT, product, analytics and business teams for scalable storage solutions.
Monitor progress and report issues to leadership with defined scope and budgets.
Document technical processes and procedures and mentor junior engineers.
Provide technical analysis to support decision-making.
