Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group seeks a Lead Engineer IT Software Development & Maintenance to lead a team of developers and support roles in delivering scalable enterprise data solutions. You will own the Reltio MDM platform and drive data quality, survivorship rules, and identity resolution across enterprise domains.

The role requires strong AWS capabilities, experience with AI integration, and a track record of managing complex, cross-functional programs in a hybrid Atlanta environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
• 10+ years of progressive work experience across multiple disciplines and technologies.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed development teams.
• Strong knowledge of Reltio data modeling, survivorship, and identity resolution.
• Experience integrating Reltio with enterprise apps via REST APIs, streaming, MuleSoft, Kafka, Informatica, AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Ability to collaborate with business, architecture, engineering, privacy, governance, and vendor teams.
• Extensive AWS experience with EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudWatch, EventBridge, SNS/SQS.
• Monitoring/observability experience with CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics.
• Scripting/automation in Python, Shell, PowerShell, or Lambda; experience with Generative AI and AI agents.
• Strong data governance, MDM, Customer 360, and AI-ready data foundations; proven Agile/DevOps/SRE practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical solutions for complex problems across design, coding, debugging, and documentation of software components.
• Own and manage the Reltio MDM platform ensuring availability, performance and data quality.
• Define and optimize match/merge, identity resolution, and survivorship strategies across domains.
• Support AI-driven data quality, data enrichment, and enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead AWS-based cloud architecture and oversee API integration and event-driven platforms.
• Conduct code and project reviews; ensure governance and SDLC compliance.
• Lead real-time multi-platform applications and cross-team collaboration for complex projects.
